Spring 2010 Colors

Are you ready for Spring? I am!
The weather has been very chilly and I hate that this Winter has been so harsh on my part of the woods. Not only is my surrounding freezing, even my brain, I might need some oximeter if this Winter would be extended again.

Moving on, do you know that there are 6 important colors this Spring in terms of Fashion trends? These are Seafoam green, Silver, Acid Yellow, Scarlet Red, Blush Pink and of course, Lavender. Read about it at InStyle Fashion Trends.

Since purple's softer sister delivers a touch of class to almost any look, it's the best shade to try a sheer dress style with. Round out the whimsical ensemble with ballet flats during the day and strappy, pearl-colored sandals in the evening. Up the romance factor even further with tops and dresses adorned in ruffles or floral embellishments. The brighter, the better is the rule of thumb for dark skin tones while fair complexions complement lighter shades of lilac.

It is very rare that I fantasize over a designer purse, I mean never actually. As in the type that you would think over and over again, dream about it in your sleep and keeps haunting you. I am still the kind of person who knows which designer purses I can only afford and which I could only dream about. Not until I saw this Miu Miu Timeless Gray Leather in Mattelasse Hobo. I just can't stop thinking about it and would often think how beautiful I would be carrying this bag hee hee. Yes, I used to be a huge-bag user but lately, I found myself, carrying small purses. Good thing because fashion trends said that small bags are in this year. With all the bills on top of our heads, more target savings this year and other future expenses such as renewal of our life insurance quote, this purse tagged at $1,495 is something I would not get this year or the next. Maybe in 5 years hahah! But maybe not.

Last entry for the day, before I head off and check on this shutter hardware site. Scarlett Johansson is the new face of Mango and just recently, she designed this Haiti-inspired Mango Bag. I find it beautiful and tastefully done. Quite a similarity to Rootote's French Capital bag except of course, the material is leather. I have always been an avid follower of Heidi Klum's fashion and trendy styles. She just amazes me. Last Friday, my twitter friends went gaga over Faye's For Sale Gucci Items :P. While most of us kept drooling over the purses, my bestfriend who wants to try out on blogging was seriously reading on this web directory site and accidentally chanced upon this blog that has a lot of Gucci items. too late for a hearty gift?

Hahaha! Instead of blogging and missing out some sleep last night, I decided to sleep in even if I need to research on a acne home remedy for DH's cousin, remember? You see, waking up early has been such a struggle on my part and I guess the primary reason for that is I stay up late and ending up unproductive. So yes, I woke up an hour earlier today and discovered, I am a morning person. My Blogging Turbo button is flashing red and powered on. Seriously, I might need one of these best under eye creams for I need to sacrifice some sleep for a couple of nights to finish my blogging tasks. I am not complaining as these blessings do not come regularly, so might as well, take advantage of the circumstance. Anyhow, I have a long list of Valentine entries waiting to be published in a few. Yes, late entries again hee hee.

So how was your VDay? DH surprised me with a gift I wasn't expecting. I guess this Japanese tradition I snagged from The Manila Fashion Observer is very effective, except this time DH did the shopping hahah!

True to Japanese tradition, we tolerate and accept every part of each other's personalities. That and I let her go shopping!

An Ode to Alexander Mc Queen.

Last week, my twitter and Google reader feeds have been filled with status updates and blog entries on the passing of Alexander Mc Queen. I am not really updated with his fashion but I would often see his collection from random fashion blogs which I find very unique and to some extent, eccentric. It was just very sad to find out that Suicide was the cause of his death. Seriously, we never know what is going on a person's mind no matter how successful a person is. Yes, what a sad Fashion Week start.

GAH! The Superbowl must have given me so much energy that I am still up at his unholy hour. Apparently, I was able to sleep for 2 hours already and woke up very thirsty and feeling hot. I love, love, love. I have always been vocal about my fashion choices. When you check my closet, you'd see different colors not just the classic earth hues. I don't know why, but I could not live dressing up like Angelina Jolie, I mean all black, grays, whites-kind-of girl. So, yes, these bags are something I could wear, if I have the budget for these hee hee.

Before I proceed and check on these life insurance types, here are my most recent shoe purchases from Aldo. Sadly, I am very disappointed. When will I ever learn? This has been the 3rd time I ordered online from Aldo and I was disappointed. They gave me wrong sizes, that or sometimes their size is too small or big for me. Apart from that, the product photos can be very deceiving, I was expecting for something elegant, but these turned out lousy. Will exchange these in the outlet over the weekend. Sigh.

Pinks Vs. Golds

It's funny how I end up senselessly surfing on things on my wishlist when I needed to research on something important. Like a few hours ago, I needed to check on this Samsung LCD TV for a relative when I ended up updating my wishlist in one of the Online Shoe Store I frequent. Yikes!
