The wedding rehearsal yesterday was so tiring but fun. I was laughing so hard at my son's antics, as always. The little kiddos went over to our place after the dinner party to play with my son and they lasted playing till 12midnight! Ahhh, I was so deadtired. We all have to drive them home and we were able to get back to our place at almost 1am.

men's hobby

Men are always restless when they are at home save for a few who is born to be homebody and wants to wallow on chips and DVDs, perhaps video games. They have so much energy all the time. One of Dh's friend would spend so much time on paintball. Back home, they used to play together but not on a regular basis as DH is not into this kind of hobby. When I joined them one time, I almost collapsed with lack of energy, no kidding. I just can't keep up with them. You'd also be surprised on how they take care so much about their toys, in DH's friend's case, BB Guns which he gets from ZephyrAirguns.com. I guess if I am having a hard time figuring out their obsession on their toys, DH is also confused with my obsession with fashion what-nots :).

I love how preppy this outfit inspiration is. I have a few stuff that I could mix and match and come up with a similar one. However, I won't look good at it because of my increasing weight boohoo. For the past days, it takes me very long to dress up because most of my clothes don't look good on me anymore. I cannot also control my eating habits. We tend to over-shop for kids stuff, at least DH and I are like that when it comes to our 4-year old. When it's about him, I instantly forget my shopping budget and just buy and buy and buy. That was before. For the past days and hopefully this habit will last, I try to avoid impulsive buying of children's clothes. I go now for quality than quantity. I buy stuff that I could pass on to DS' future younger siblings or his cousins.

If June is the month of weddings in most western countries, in the Philippines December is the busiest month for weddings. I guess this boils down to how Filipinos have a very festive holiday season during Christmas. It is also the time when most of OCW/OFW and immigrants make a balikbayan just in time for holiday vacation. Boracay is just one of the favorite destination weddings in the Philippines but if you live in Mexico, couples usually go to Riviera Maya for their wedding destinations. Either way, don't we all love destination weddings? I do. Every time I get invited to this kind of weddings, I get giddy and very excited.
