My mom noticed that I am not into accessorizing anymore. I used to fancy accessories from dangling earrings, layered necklaces and chunky rings but now, I have tamed down on using them. I guess I am also swamped with other stuff in my hand that I have little time to dress up and think what accessories to use but I cannot live without pearls in my jewelry box. Look what I found in Tumblr, hmmm such good ideas on how to wear those pearls.
Speaking of my mom and dad, they have barely 2 more months to spend time with us and just thinking about them going home, I can't help but hid a heavy heart boohoo. Anyways, we have 3 more small trips before they leave and I think it would help to get them medical travel insurances.

I am finally bouncing back to reality after a tiring but fun very VERY LONG Thanksgiving Weekend. I think I also gained over 5 lbs because of the many dinners and luncheon thanksgiving parties we attended. Despite our fun camping out in Best Buy for almost 12 hrs hee hee, I did not lose a pound, sigh lol! Anyhow, what's inside my Black Friday Loot? Mostly, gadgets, tv stands and laptops. I noticed there weren't much sale on garments, purses and shoes so I just got myself a pair of new shades. DS was so happy to receive his first ever laptop, we got him his mini-laptop and boy he can't stop tinkering on it.

Anyways, are you going to the Huge Black Friday Sale? It would be my first time to line up with Dear Hubby at Best Buy. My mom wants this HP laptop while I am buying a mini-laptop for myself. I need a back up laptop and a laptop that I could bring wherever I am. I already saw one and I hope it gets on sale this Friday. Also, for the past weeks, we have already visited the outlet stores and there had been ongoing sales, which makes us decide to skip the outlet trip this Friday. Probably, after Best Buy, we'll visit the mall, TJ Maxx, and other specialty stores. We hope to be done after lunch because line starts at BestBuy as early as 12nn of Thanksgiving Day! I hope to lose weight while lining up hee hee.

I love bags that have chains as their straps. Maybe you are thinking about the classic Chanel bag, but nope. I have been asked by a friend over at Twitter what I think about J. Aldridge's collection in UO. I honestly love this girl because at 17 she has achieved so much. Her flare for fashion is very natural. Her blog, Sea of Shoes has been one of the top fashion blogs that has been followed by fashion enthusiasts and even designers. The first time I saw her shoe collection in UO, I really want to get a pair for myself. However, the leather quality is something I was not expecting. But then again, with the price that comes with every pair, why not get myself a pair, after all her designs are exquisite and very haute-couture. Fashion Icon: Cristina Ricci

I wrote about my fashion icons before, you can check it under the fashion icon category in my sidebar. You will notice that most of my fashion icons are petite women that is because I am one. I try to dress up according to my weight and height and not because it's the trend. I have come to accept that there are trendy stuff that I will never be able to wear because it would never look good on me no matter how much weight I lost. There are just clothes that are better off for longer and leaner body structure. So here is another Hollywood actress to add to that list :). While I was checking these apartments, I chanced upon this photo of Cristina Ricci at BagThatStyle.com. Her Gray Chanel Bag adds "oomph" to her very casual outfit. I am also amazed by how much weight she lost from that chubby little kid in Casper and maintain the petite yet lean body. I wish I have the discipline too.

Christmas This Year

For the past 2 years, I have not celebrated Christmas and New Year's with my family, my immediate family. They were thousands of miles away from me. I have to admit that for the past 2 Christmases, I miss them dearly. This year, will be extra special because they are here to celebrate the Holidays with us. As early as now, DH and I have been planning actiivities on where to go and what to do during his 2-week long vacation. But then again, there are friends in my core group whom I missed badly. We used to have Christmas dinners and parties from November till January. I guess, I would just have to send them these personalised christmas cards which I saw from 123Print.Co.Uk.

I have mentioned in a previous entry that I love how Rachel Bilson carries herself and I look up to her as one of my fashion icons. In fact this afternoon as I was shopping with my mom, I was able to buy a cardigan and pair of shorts similar to the ones Rachel Bilson is wearing in the photo. I must admit it looked good on me save for the tummy area, I wonder how I will be able to get rid of these flabby tummy yay! Might as well read this how to lose belly fat pronto!

Gosh I am swamped! This migraine is such a hassle, I haven't been very productive the past days because of this recurring migraine. Even though I am resting, the migraine keeps me awake hence these dark circles under my eyes tsk tsk, I might just need these under eye creams. Anyways, my mom said, my headaches bouts are caused by my constant usage of headbands, do you think that's true? I just love collecting 'em.

It's funny that I end up checking these DKNY Dresses when DH wanted me to check on this tuxedo vest. I know I am becoming more predictable but I never learn how to shop for DH. These photos of Gucci Bags have been seating on my files for a while now, I even forgot what collection these belong. I previously mentioned in this blog that I appreciate Gucci bags more than LV Bags, I do not know why, maybe because their designs are more simple and classic.
