There is something about Kate Spade that make it stand out from other purse and shoe brands. I think the simplicity and elegance in design. So when I got this email about their new jewelry/accessory line, I had to just check it. So before I check this humidifier filter , here's sharing some of my favorites from their line in Neiman Marcus.

I never got comfortable with wearing mini-skirts, in fact, I only had 2 mini skirts in my closet since I was born. One of which was worn when I was a kid and one when I had the guts then. I think my size is the main reason for this, I do not look good with one because I am petite and on the chubby side. On the other hand, my best friend who is tall and lean can sport any sexy mini skirts and would look good on it. She has nice legs and she carries clothes really well.

You see, these sexy mini skirts can be quite tricky because no matter how elegant your skirts are, you must be careful in pairing them with the right shoes, purse and top. Otherwise you'd look cheap. A few more days and I'm off to march and smile, take photos with the dean, my professors and my favorite classmates plus of course, get my much-awaited Master's Degree diploma. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about this.

If you are thinking whether the sacrifice, time and hard work will be worth it if you pursue to further your education, either via a university online or attend classes on campus, I would say YES. Even though it's too early to tell and I still have not started looking for a job, I know that my hardwork will pay off. Education will always be an investment.

Blair VS Serena

I could not quite decide if I am Team Blair or Team Serena. I initially want Blair's character because of her sweet and very charming gestures, but Serena's elegance always surprises me, not to mention she is "ethereally beautiful!". But these 2 remind me of how me and my bestfriend would dress up. I'm the type who would experiment on colors and prints while my bestfriend goes for classics but very elegant pieces.


These girls are so skinny, I wonder if they ever take the best slimming pills? Hmmm.

Officially, I gained weight :(. This is the only downside of having my mom around cooking irresistible dishes. So I was inspired to create Looklet each day just so I could be reminded of my weight gain and get inspired by the Looklet models who are soooo skinny! I was supposed to check this Myrtle beach golf site when I found myself checking Rachel Roy's site once again. I cannot help but drool at her collections, she is my current IT designer. It is high-end fashion but could be worn by regular girl like me and the price is relatively affordable :). But then again, I am jobless so I might as well settle with my Causeway loots (hee hee, my twitter friends know what I am talking about) and let these photos be my inspiration on how to mix and match.

elongate your body with blazers/coats

I have been carefully watching my weight since the arrival of my folks. We have been eating out and the biggest culprit to my 3lbs-weight gain are my mom's dishes which I miss so badly. I lose weight very slow but I gain weight very fast so I am trying to monitor the precious 7 lbs I lost the past few months because I do not want to take any weight loss pills as my last resort hehe. Anyways, one way to hide those flabs, elongate your body and make you look a lot slimmer is by wearing blazers such as these from Urban Outfitters. I usually wear blazers over dresses and when I wear leggings. I love how it makes me look taller too :). Cardigans make me look very plump hehe.

hats on tomorrow.

We're off to another road trip tomorrow :). We have been maximizing every weekend since the arrival of my folks, we want to take advantage of the good weather and while there are still no snow on the road. You ask where we're heading off tomorrow? D.C. and MD :). I have been to D.C. many times but this would be my first time to visit Baltimore so I am pretty excited whee.

You see, when I went to DC last Fall, I underestimated the weather. I could not believe I would end up with a migraine because of the cold weather. I almost did not enjoy the trip. Hence, tomorrow I will make sure that I bring with me a bonnet and a hat lol! One for me and my mom, kayo naman! Anyways, these hats from Urban Outfitters are sooo cute, me likey!





By the way, we all know that dry skin can equal to wrinkles, so make sure to moisturize 2x a day during these cold seasons. We want prevention rather than cure, although this anti wrinkle cream can be a good remedy if you have started to grow wrinkles :).
