As you all know Mulberry has designed more than 5 purses for Target. This collection hit members of Gilt Groupe last August 20. Come October 1, it will be sold at Target for a limited time. I am so tempted to get the Black Patent or the Black Quilted Fabric at eBay last week (which is more than $20 + shipping!!!), good thing I had self-control and just wait for it's distribution in Target on October. I just learned we need to replace our Samsung HDTV and that means, I have to take out funds in our shopping budget.

My husband does not really understand why I have to purchase an expensive purse, well, expensive is relative. He does not comprehend how I see them as my investment. He is more into jewelries and watches. He wanted me to focus my purchases on jewelries, instead. In fact, it took him a long time to shop for engagement rings until he found the perfect one for me. He is critical in terms of the kind of diamonds my engagement ring would carry. I have lost about 6 lbs for the past 2 weeks already. I am quite proud of myself because of my food intake self-control. Seriously, even DH is amazed that I always say NO to many dishes served when we eat out and I skipped dinner for 2 weeks straight already. I have mentioned in my other blog how hooked I have become in this TV show that tackles money saving tips, credit card management and everything else about money. I don't know why, maybe I have become financially matured as I have reached my 30s. Although, I know I still indulge in impulsive shopping but these are just small amounts and stuff that could cheer me up and fancy my collection. My friend, D once told me that he will work hard while he is young and so when he reached the age of 40 he could slow down and eventually retire by 50 and just enjoy the fruits of his labor. Wow!!! That is quite idealistic but if you put your eye on the goal, you can actually do it. No wonder, he is into investments and saving up for the future that even investing in a gold bar has been his favorite topic as well.

I would love to have that kind of life when I reach my golden years. Sometimes when I see old people still working on some strenuous jobs, I feel sad that they have to do something like that when they are old and gray. We all have different opportunities in life and like what my mom said sometimes people are put in a circumstance they do not have control of and this circumstance dictate their future. If for some circumstance we need to work till we are old and gray, we should make sure that while we work, we stop for a break and smell the flowers.

When I started watching Pretty Little Liars, I found Aria Montgomery or Lucy Hale in real life, the lead star in the Series to be the prettiest among the 5, including Alison DiLaurentis. But as you watch the series for 10 weeks, Spencer Hastings is getting prettier and hotter each episode especially when she was wear running shorts and doing her tennis practices scenes. This series is so addicting that I ended up reading the book haha!

And do you know that Shay Mitchell or Emily Fields in PLL is half Filipina raised in Canada? I thought she was Asian and Googled it. True enough, she is a beautiful half-pinay girl.
